Dil Bechara co-star Swastika Mukherjee is possibly the only actress to have shared screen space twice with Sushant Singh Rajput. While she played his romantic interest Angoori Devi in Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, she played his almost mother-in-law in his swansong. While the film shattered records and hit everyone hard with emotions and the dialogues, especially during the climax, we discussed everything Sushant with Swastika. And she tells us, “I want to remember him always with a smile. He would want me to do that.” The conversation with her steered from their moments on the sets of Dil Bechara, to noticeable changes in his demeanour, if any. Playing a character dealing with a mental illness in Paatal Lok, she said she could never tell that Sushant was going through a tough time at all.
