Sahas Se Salam Tak – Mumbai Diaries Trailer Launch | Amazon Original Series

Presenting Sahas Ko Salam event highlights when the cast and creators of Amazon Original Series Mumbai Diaries 26/11 launched the trailer of the series with a tribute to front-line workers.

Held at The Gateway of India, the event, Sahas Ko Salam, was graced by Shri Aaditya Thackeray, Honourable Minister of Tourism, Environment & Protocol, Government of Maharashtra.

The event, which commenced with the trailer launch also included a panel discussion on how ‘Life Changes in a Heartbeat’, with eminent panelists such as Dr. Mohan Joshi, Dean of Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital and Sion Hospital, Mr. Prabhat Rahangdale, Deputy Municipal Commissioner (DMC), Disaster management for Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Jt. Commissioner of Mumbai Police, Mr. Vishwas Nangre Patil alongside Director Nikkhil Advani and series lead Mohit Raina sharing their experience on how split second decisions can save lives, a mesmerizing musical performance by Altamash Faridi who performed to the series yet to be released track ‘Tu Dafn Hai’ which was followed by the felicitation of frontline warriors Dr. Urmila Patil who was instrumental in turning Mumbai’s Seven Hills Hospital to a full fledged Covid-19 hospital from a quarantine center, Chief Nursing Officer Anjali Kulthe who’s bravery saved several pregnant women during the 26/11 attack at Cama Hospital. Dattaram Sahadev Karanje, Jr. Supervisor at the BMC’s Solid Waste Management Department who played a pivotal part during the first wave of the pandemic, providing PPE kits to private clinics in high risk containment zones and helping contain the pandemic spread by contact tracing and effective sanitization and waste disposal practices and Police Inspector Bhaskar Kadam of the Main Control Room who risked his life, during the 26/11 attacks and captured Ajmal Kasab, the key perpetrator in the terrorist attacks.

Mumbai Diaries 26/11 is a fictional edge-of-the-seat medical drama that is set against the terrifying, unforgettable night that, on one hand ravaged the city, but on the other hand also united its people and strengthened their resolve to stand resolutely against any adversity. Created by Nikkhil Advani, produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani of Emmay Entertainment, and jointly directed by Nikkhil Advani along with Nikhil Gonsalves, Mumbai Diaries 26/11, depicts the untold story of doctors, nurses, paramedics, and hospital staff who worked tirelessly to save lives during the terror attacks that devastated the city on November 26th, 2008. The series features an array of talented artists, including Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, Tina Desai, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, Mrunmayee Deshpande & Prakash Belawadi.
